Biography
Gabrielle Branche (Trinidad and Tobago) is a graduate of NYU Abu Dhabi where she majored in Interactive Media with a minor in Dance. She has studied in multiple countries including the United Arab Emirates, the United States, Germany, and China.

Gabrielle has been dancing for the past 22 years. As an Interactive Media artist, she focuses on integrating physical computing with theater and dance. She uses robotics, remote sensors, and AR technology to create immersive dance and theatrical pieces. She has been instructed dance in the UAE for 3 years and has worked at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater as the Arts in Education Intern, Virtual Ailey Camp Content Manager in the 2020 and 2021 New York and Newark camps and a camp counselor for AileyCamp New York 2022. She has also interned in leading UK based VR company Atlantic Production’s Alchemy VR where she worked on various projects including creating Alchemy VR augmented reality business cards.

After graduating she became a lived-in volunteer at Triform Camphill Community, a self-sufficient, sustainable residential community for people with developmental disabilities where along with providing personal care and working on the land, she managed their social media platforms and coordinated weekly Sunday activities for the 50+ community members.

In 2023, she became a Teach For America Massachusetts Corps Member in Springfield MA. She is currently in her second year teaching 6th grade mathematics at Veritas Prep Charter School and simultaneously completing her Masters in Education at Boston University.
